Maintaining Image Quality in AI Image Editing

Repeatedly regenerating the same image can cause visual digital noise to accumulate. Use the guidelines below to preserve maximum clarity during your editing workflow.

Managing Generation Noise

When performing multiple consecutive edits on a single image, digital noise or artifacts may become noticeable from the 5th generation onward. This degradation is an inherent characteristic of iterative AI processing rather than a platform defect.

To maintain pristine image quality, apply these workflow practices:

  • Restrict consecutive modifications on a single image file to 3 or 4 iterations.

  • The Re-upload Reset: If you need to refine an image beyond 4 edits, download your latest result and upload it back to ArchiX as a brand-new base image. This resets the processing chain and prevents noise accumulation.
