Essential Requirements for Using ArchiX

Most stumbling blocks can be avoided by understanding two basic requirements.

When people get stuck in ArchiX, it's usually not because of how a feature works but because of a basic requirement. ArchiX is a tool that transforms an input image, so if your starting material isn't ready, you won't get good results. Keep these two points in mind and you'll avoid most failures.

Requirement 1: Prepare an Input Image

ArchiX can't generate an image from text alone. Always upload a source image (a photo, drawing, sketch, CG and so on) before you start. If you can't generate without uploading anything, that's not a bug. It's how ArchiX is designed.

Requirement 2: Use Transparent Backgrounds for Product Images

When you use Place Objects in AI Image Editor to put a product into a space, the product image works best with a transparent background (a transparent PNG). If the background is still there, it can be pasted in along with the product and the result looks unnatural.

⛔ Caution: If you place a product image without a transparent background, its rectangular background may be pasted into the space too, so the product looks like it's floating. For the best results, prepare a transparent PNG with the background removed.

💡 Tip: For products you use often, make a transparent PNG once and save it to Assets. Then you won't have to prepare it again for every project.
